Hui O Momilani
Family Fun Nite
SAVE THE DATE: Friday, May 10, 2019
Get your Hype(est), Fresh(est), Disco Fever dance moves down and (Electro) Shuffle on down to Family Fun Nite on Friday, May 10 from 5:30PM to 8:30PM at the Pearl City High School Cafeteria.
This year students have taken charge and have designed some new games for you all to enjoy! The BreakOut tents are making a come back, sample some yummy desserts and baked goods made by members of our Momilani ohana while sipping lemonade and munching on those famous Waffle Dogs and Poi Mochi.
Register to attend on the website and visit the Hui Store online to purchase your t-shirt, tank top and game lanyard. This year’s logo once again designed by Momilani students! Sign ups to volunteer to help build games, make signs, make a donation for either the bake sale or silent auction are still available.
Does your family have a special dessert they would like to share? Or perhaps your child and their friends want to have a bake-off and see who’s yummy goodies sell-out first? Family Fun Night Bake Sales are a success each year because of the wonderful varieties of baked goods and items donated by our talented families. Please consider donating to our bake sale.
You may drop off your items to the school library between 7:30am to 10am on Friday, May 10. All items must be pre-packaged for sale (ziplock bags, individual cups, cellophane goodie bags, etc.) as we will not be able to package your items.
If you have any questions, please contact Ann Wee at email@example.com
Momilani Ohana! We need donations for Family Fun Night’s Silent Auction. We are currently ONLY taking NEW, SELLABLE, FUNDRAISING items-- such as, gift cards to restaurants, activities, movies, online stores, iTunes, etc.
We will also take new (current and unopened) toys valued at over $10. We may be able auction other items, but please email us about the items prior to dropping them off; in the past we received a lot of things that were not sellable and required a lot of time to sort through.
Also, if any of our wonderful Momilani families have connections to hotels, airfare, or large ticket items, we would SO APPRECIATE your help since a few of our corporate sponsors are no longer available. Tax donation letters will be emailed in a timely manner to the donor.
For donation inquiries and drop off location, please contact Caroline Honma at firstname.lastname@example.org
Where would we be without our volunteers? There are many areas in which we could use your help, from set-up to clean-up, to parking, the silent auction, bake sale or registration. Please consider signing up as a volunteer. Those who sign-up EARLY will receive one free game lanyard for their child! Volunteer time slots are available from 2pm to 5pm for set-up (volunteer early to spend the whole FFN with your family!) or choose a slot from 5pm to 7pm, or 7pm to 9pm.
We will also be having a parent work night on Friday, May 3 at 5:30pm to 8pm make signs, organize the silent auction items and games, make lanyards, and sort FFN t-shirts. This is a great opportunity to sit and get to know other parents while prepping for Hui’s biggest event! The more the merrier, and the sooner we all finish can go home!

We are very excited this year to be working with the 6th Grade students on a project to re-imagining the FFN games in an effort to make them more engaging for all age groups. The biggest changes requested were multiplayer and competition. So to that end, they set out in collaborative groups to redesign 12 of the games.
We could really use your help bringing these designs to reality. The Games Committee for FFN is looking for volunteers to help us make this happen!
