Hui O Momilani

Charity Walk

SAVE THE DATE: Saturday, May 18, 2019

Aloha Momilani Ohana!

The Hui O Momilani PTSO’s BIG fundraising event this year will be the 41st Annual Visitor Industry Charity Walk on Saturday, May 18th at 7am. Walkers will start from Ala Moana Beach Park, make their way down Kalakaua Avenue, through Waikiki, and then back for lunch at the park. EVERYONE is welcome to participate so invite your friends, family and neighbors to join our Hui as we walk, eat, have a good time and raise money for our school! One hundred percent of ALL funds raised comes back to the Hui! This year they’re trying to set a record for the number of participants walking in slippers so bring your walking shoes with slippers on hand, literally, and let’s set a record! To date, the Hawaii Lodging & Tourism Industry, through the Charity Walk, has helped us raise over $20,000 to fund our grade level drama performances! WOW! This year the money generated will also go to help build our school’s science programs.

The fee to walk is $40 for adults and $25 for anyone under 18 years of age (including infants). The most direct link to our registration site is to text Oahu113 to 71777 or click on this link: https://app.mobilecause.com/vf/Oahu/team/HuiOMomilani to register under Team: Hui O Momilani PTSO. Walkers are required to pay the minimum fee and fill out the form, but if there are those in your family unable to attend, they can still make an online donation. Please help us meet our goal of $5,000 and highest number of registered walkers (our first year we had the second highest number of registered walkers AND money raised by an organization).

If you were one of the lucky few who received a gift certificate for free Charity Walk tickets at one of our events, please make sure to contact Ann Wee at Hui_treasurer@momilanies.k12.hi.us to redeem.

Thank you so much for all of your help in making Momilani such a great school! If you have any questions please email hui_fundraising@momilanies.k12.hi.us.
